Am trying...
... to relearn how to knit. It's been a long time. It's not coming back quickly. Hmmm. But, I shall persevere. It's like riding a bike, right? Right.

Rewards & Pitfalls of STEEL
I just finished a couple of Viking Knit items out of 28 gauge STEEL wire. Which turned out to be amazing & beautiful & shimmery & wonderful. I gotta say, I am loving the steel. I originally picked it up because of the recent astronomical price increase of silver, but quickly fell in love with for its own awesome self.
I love how there are subtle color gradations in the steel (it's really much more beautiful than the pictures show).
Also, on the steel & fine silver bracelet, I LOVE the contrast between the dark steel and the bright silver.
It's amazing what I can get done when I just say NO to the TV & internet.
